Yvon Gourhant

I received a Ph.D in Distributed System at INRIA in 1991. After 15 months in DSG group at Trinity College Dublin (TCD), I  joined the R&D division of France Telecom in Lannion (Brittany in France) in 1993. My main research topics are about programmable networks, mesh networks, self-organized networks, and vehicular networks. Today, I’m leading a Research project at Orange Labs Networks on network infrastructures for emerging countries, which encompasses cellular network coverage extension, aerial networks (satellites, balloons, drones), and crowd networks.
